Camu Camu why did you not last as long as my sweet Lucky in Love?

So I have to say I was a little disappointed in the Camu Camu travel tin. It was an awesome scent, but it only lasted about two weeks. The reason I was so disappointed is that my Lucky in Love lasted me like four months before I completely could not smell it anymore. Maybe it was my strong pregnant nose that smelled the Lucky in Love so long. I am not sure. I am determined to try all the travel tins, except Leather because I hate that scent. I want to try the travel tins because you cannot judge one scent to the next. If I am going to tell people that this stuff is great and last a long time I need to know which scents are the ones that last the longest otherwise I may accidentally lie to someone on how long a certain travel tin last. I can't live with that kind of mistake.

My little accident

My eight month old daughter is learning to crawl/walk. She is pulling herself up everywhere. I have my Scentsy warmer behind my TV which sits on top of chest. I thought that would be the safest place for it. The couches barracked the warmer enough, right? Wrong! She some how pulled herself up next to the TV and flipped over behind the TV pulling down my Scentsy warmer. She had wax all over her hands and arms. She didn't even cry. She had no burn marks nothing. The wax hardened up and I peeled it off of her. I was amazed that this product was even safe with my curious baby. I again stand by this product as being a truly safe candle. I can't imagine what would have happened had the candle had a flame. I love my warmer and I will be moving it to a different spot in my living room.

I have used the Lucky in Love travel tin and it lasted in my car for 4 months. I didn't use it everyday. I used it when I needed some freshening up in my car. This time around I decided to use Camu Camu. I enjoyed the scent, but found it to be a lighter scent. I like strong scents. I had to have it open longer in order to keep smelling it. I would recommend this scent for those of you who just want a light hint of something in the air. The scent reminded me of a lazy summer afternoon. It was the perfect scent for our Fourth of July travel.

I get to work when they nap or when my husband is home. I work on certain days and those are my Scentsy days. I am so grateful for that opportunity.

Hang in my car

Travel tins are amazing. They are a little silver box that contains the same Scentsy scent in a little box that fits in your pocket. This little guy can go anywhere: gym locker, hotel room, bathroom, etc. I decided a long time ago, this winter, that I would put my travel tin in my car. I had Lucky in Love smelling up my car real god, but like all good things there is an end. Sigh. I had it in there for like four months it was bound to happen. Anyway the travel tin is a clear gel and I don't know how it will keep in the heat of the summer. So I am doing an experiment. I am going to leave my travel tin in my car all summer to see what happens. I still want my car to smell good so I decided to use a hanging freshener while I conduct my experiment. My son choose the set of.....drum roll please... yes you guessed it Sunkissed Citrus. I have never used a Hanging Freshener before from Scentsy. I was pleasantly surprised. It has a very strong scent and boy does my car smell good. Look out old Cheerio smell, bye bye Caprison sent, and Hello happy good smelling car.

Havana Cabana

Which new scent should I try?......That was what I was thinking last night as I sat in my living room after the kids were put into bed. My husband suggested we try Havana Cabana. It is a mix of pineapple, oranges, bananas, and berries. Sounds fruity? It was a nice addition to our evening. I wanted to go to the beach and have a fruit slushy while my legs enjoyed the warmth of the sun.

Mada about Mint Challenge

I was at my In-Laws the other day and we all noticed an odor coming from the bathroom. It was not pleasant, I am sure many of you have had such an experience. So we quickly turned the Warmer, which is Lotus by the way. It had Sunkissed Citrus inside which was trying to warm up, but the "bad" smell was still lingering. While we waited for the warmer to melt the Scentsy wax we searched for a room spray. My Mother-in-law suggested we use her new Mad About Mint scent. So we squirted the bathroom doorway, and two squirts in the den area (it is a large room). The room quickly smelled better. At first it smelt like a new pack of Wrigley gum (yum), but once the Sunkissed Citrus scent started filling th air it smelled like summer! I loved the two scents mixing together in the air. It was a very happy relaxing scent.

SO when we got home I wanted to have a new scent warming in my warmer (I have the Paws Warmer). I asked my husband to choose between Beach and Mad About Mint. He chose Mad About Mint (I was excited because secretly that's the one I wanted to warm). Mmmmm! Once again it smelled like a new pack of gum, but to my dismay my husband said it smelled like minty cleaner. I was like, "WHAT?" I think he has fried his nose hairs. I really do. So I need some help. I need eight people in the Athens area who would like to take the "Mad About Mint Challenge." Leave me a comment and an email address so I can contact you. Tribeca Mid-size Warmer

I have been using the Dandy cherry plug-in in my bedroom. I had a little miss hap and got some wax on my carpet. I was a little annoyed so I decided to upgrade to a mid-size warmer. My bedroom has red and white accents in it so which warmer to chose?

Of course I chose a red warmer and I love the fact that it is small and that it reminds me of a wrap dress. I have it sitting on my dresser. The plug-in used to be right in front of our bed and it was a little bright at times. Now that we have the Tribeca on our dresser the room is still lite at night, but the light comes from a different part of our room.

It is nice to have a beautiful, awesome smelling, safe night light. Our 6 month old sleeps in our bedroom and requires feeding at night. It is nice to be able to see where I am going without turning on the light and waking my husband.

I also like waking up to a nice sweet, clean, fresh smell. Sometimes old homes can be kind of dingy or smelling after it rains, like it did yesterday, but not my place thanks to my Scentsy warmers.

My plug-in now resides in the bathroom. It is up high and not somewhere where it can be easily bumped. I think it is happier in its new home. I love my plug-in the bathroom for two reasons that were already stated, but I will share them again. I can see in the bathroom during my late night restroom use without being blasted by the main light and it smells good! Bathrooms can be smelly, especially when men and boys are involved, but my little plug-in keeps the smelliness in the good smell category.

Skinny Dippin'

I have been using the same scent for a while now, Sunkissed Citrus, because lets just say it is awesome. Every time I turn on my warmer I want to clean my house, but lately my wonderful husband has been using my room spray to fight off this terrible order that is invading our house. Let's just say I was forced to find another scent that would bring a little joy into my child filled, laundry piling, and food preparing day. I decided to try Skinny Dippin'. WOW! This scent is so subtle and light. I love getting little samples of the scent as I walk into our room. It is so calming and clean. Now I want to clean things off my floor. It is so nice and relaxing.
